Executive Vice President, Literacy Content and Team Development
Carolyn Greenberg is the LitLife executive vice president of literacy content and team development. A seasoned teacher, literacy coach and administrator, Carolyn brings a wealth of experience to her role on the LitLife team, overseeing the creation of research-based curriculum and professional development experiences for Pre-K-12 schools across the country. She also designs and implements learning opportunities for the LitLife consulting team and acts as the team mentor and onboarding specialist.
Carolyn has been the team leader in the development of several published products for LitLife and is the co-author of the soon-to-be-published book, My View, My Voice: Teaching K-8 Students to Compose Confident, Informed and Purposeful Persuasive Writing.
Carolyn began her career with many successful years as a teacher of general education, gifted and talented, and literacy intervention students in the New Jersey public schools. There, Carolyn moved on to become a staff developer and literacy coach.
More recently, Carolyn served as Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction in a New Jersey public school district. She supported and provided training for teachers in multiple disciplines and observed and coached teachers in classrooms in best practices. Carolyn worked with many teams of teachers and administrators in the development of standards-based curricular calendars and units of study to support instruction at all grades.
Carolyn is a graduate of Lafayette College where she studied Elementary Education and Art. Carolyn also holds Masters Degrees in Educational Leadership and in Elementary Ed. with a concentration in Educational Technology. She is the proud mom of two teenage girls and enjoys music, art, the outdoors, entertaining and reading in her free time.
