Vincent Ventura is an educational consultant and the Director of LitLife International. While based in Monterrey, Mexico, Vincent provides professional development throughout the world. Working collaboratively with school administrators, Vincent creates professional development opportunities where all teachers and students are empowered to adopt best practices in literacy.
Vincent specializes in literacy, curriculum, assessment, and coaching from Early Childhood to Middle School. His work includes demonstration lessons, workshops with teachers and parents, curriculum writing, and coaching teachers. Vincent works hard with international schools to marry research-based practices in literacy with the school’s curriculum and cultural background.
Vincent has been an international speaker at the Tri-Association Conference (TRI), Columbia University’s Teachers College Institute on Literacy Coaching & Whole School Writing Reform, International Literacy Association (ILA), Association of American Schools in South America (AASSA), Hamline University’s Literacy Institute, and Lesley University’s Literacy for All (LFA).
Vincent received his undergraduate degree in Drama in Education from the University of Windsor. Vincent holds a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education from Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. He earned a Certificate of International School Leadership through the PTC. He has completed workshops on the Primary Years Program.
Vincent consults in such countries as: Colombia, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Guatemala, México, Peru, and Suriname. More recently, he has expanded his reach to Austria and the Ivory Coast.
